OBX!

Settle in, this is another doozy of a post! So. Many. PICTURES!!! (And bless you if you actually go through the link to the album!)

I know, I have a problem... I blame my memory! If there's not a photo of it, it really is hard for me to remember, sigh. So, you've been warned.:)

We had another wonderful time in the Outer Banks back in the middle of July and it was made all the more sweet this year to have our SON join us! With play being his love language, Ollie was in his element. We enjoyed all our usual favorites of a quick stop at Morris Farm on our way down, plenty of beach time, sunset and ice cream at Duck, dinner at Sugar Creek with the dunes after, breakfast at Stack 'Em High, and even a little date night thrown in. We loved every minute!

Barely made it in time before Morris Farm closed! We were grateful for an easy drive down though.

Time for a quick evening peek at the beach!

First full day in the sun!

It was a great first day with the evening in Duck for milkshakes and the sunset.

(Had to include these next pics. Ollie's is hilariously well-executed!)

The clouds covered much of the sunset but it was still a great end to a great day.

More fun in the sun the next day!

With a sunset date night for us back in Duck to boot!

Family effort sand castle building!

Later that evening we had a delicious dinner at Sugar Creek and lots of fun at the dunes after! There was running and rolling and rolling and running... (And crawling!)

And the most gorgeous sunset we have seen in a long time!

Hilarious video of the rolling (and crawling!) HERE!

Our strong, fierce Maelee.

That's our sweet trio to the left!

We actually couldn't go out in the waves on our last day due to the rip currents so we made quite an elaborate sand castle and village! It ended up being a pretty fun end to the week.

Tons more pictures HERE!
