Scenes from Feb & March!

Anytime I try to fit two months worth of photos into one blog post, it's bound to be a biggie and I do my darndest to at least keep my words brief!

So I will skip the usual headers and stick to captions!

Our brave boy underwent his second surgery back in early February for ptosis of his right eye and he did great! It meant lots of follow up Dr. visits but he healed up nicely. 

Feeling the love on Valentine's Day!

More Girl Scouts fun with "World Thinking Day" where the girls presented on Australia!

Ollie loved dressing up like a "Captain Hook"-ish pirate when his class earned a Disney dress up day!

Highlight of March-

Maelee and daddy's date to see Toby Mac in concert!!!

They had an AMAZING time!

This girl.  She doesn't mind getting messy-

whether in chocolate, or...

covered in tree needles!

Another huge highlight from March-

those two learned how to ride their bikes without training wheels!!!

They became so skilled on the balance bikes that the first time they tried, they took off!

Of course we had to celebrate with ice cream afterward!



And one of the sweetest memories by far in March were the girls'  daddy/daughter dances!
Maelee aged about ten years as she got all dolled up for the Girl Scouts Snowflake Ball.

She loved every bit!

(And in our humble opinions, she was absolutely the belle of the ball!)

And Lilee was overjoyed to have her special daddy/daughter dance through her school.

So much adoration in those eyes!

Best buds for life.

I could seriously hardly handle all the sweetness watching these two girls just light up with their daddy. The most special time for both of them!
