Our baby girl is 2!!! And our big girl is almost 6!!!
So, that means Lilee has been 2 for almost three months now, but that's beside the point. Where has the time gone?

Our little Lilee Pie is totally, terrific-ly two in all its glory (and yes, sometimes that includes those terrible
tantrums!), but the last couple of months have been so much fun
watching her vocabulary and personality develop. She is speaking in
full sentences now (fairly legible!) and some of her favorite phrases
are "I know, mommy," and "I do myself!" She is still so cuddly and
sweet, and ornery and feisty! She has a fierce love for the moon which
began several weeks back and is adorable. She frequently asks, "Where
are you, moon?" and gets quickly agitated if she doesn't see it or jumps
with joy when she does. Fun times! Should be a big year ahead in the life of
Lilee!
Backtracking to the birthday itself...
This lucky lady had not one, not two, but THREE celebrations! Due to the crazy winter storm of January 23, 2016, Nana & Pop-Pop needed to celebrate a day earlier than the 23rd, and the birthday party had to be rescheduled (twice!) to just over a week after the 23rd! The big day itself was still lots of fun though, as our sweet neighbors braved the 20+ inches of snow, to come have cupcakes with us.

On January 29th, we had a super sweet party at Busy Bees in Falls Church. It was an adorable play space where every piece of play equipment moved or was movable in some way. The kids loved it!

This sweet girl still has a smile that lights up a room and a heart that melts hearts. It has been such a joy to watch her grow and we are so grateful to have the blessing of being her parents! Happy Birthday, Lilee!!!
